The Philippine archepelago is

of 7,107 islands comprising a total land of
about 300,000 square kilometers and a
total of coastline of approximately 34,539
kilometers. In size, it is bigger than
Great Britain and twice the size of Greece.

Climate
The Philippines´tropical climate has a
relatively high humidity, mild temperature,
abundant rainfall and gentle winds with
three pronounced seasons: wet or rainy from
June to October; cool dry from November
to February and hot dry season from
March to May.
Transportation
In Metro Manila, the buss and jeepney
rates are P1.50 for the first four kilometers
plus 50 centavos for every kilometers thereafter.
Tricycles (motorcycle with a sidecar attached)
are sometimes available for short trip on the
side streets. There are also Love Busses
available with terminals in Escolta in Binondo,
Manila, Ayala Centre, Makati and
Ali Mall in Cubao, Quezon City.
Taxis can be found almost everywhere,
especially near hotels, shoping centres and cinemas.
Always have small change available and pay
in pesos only.
