ïïïAll business has some kind of impact on the environment.
Our products are made primarily of plastic, stainless steel, self-adhesive tape and
abrasive paper. Packaging is up to our customers, as we act only as OEM-supplier.
ïïïOur environmental efforts are designed to help us
use as little raw material as possible, thereby reducing the impact our activities
have on the environment. At the same time, we reduce our costs, which in turn benefits
the customer.
ïïïWorking in accordance with prevailing laws and regulations
is an obvious part of our business, and we strive not only to meet but to exceed
legal requirements. We achieve this through our own efforts in-house, and in collaboration
with suppliers, customers and government authorities.
ïïïEach year we review the environmental goals we have
set, evaluate the extent to which they have been achieved, and set new goals.
Environmental work within E.G. Skoglund is a natural part of total quality.
ïïïIn the end, it all comes down to our products. Leading
the development of environmentally friendly products within E.G. Skoglundís business
area, and operating an efficient manufacturing process are the keys to the success
of a sound environmental development. In this way, we combine the environment, quality
and economy in the most natural way.
