Girraffe

The girraffes unique appearance is not without reason...her long neck allows eating from the high branches of trees that most other animals could never reach, thus insuring survival against the struggle for food in the wild. The coloring of the girraffe allows her to blend in with the trees while she is eating or avoiding other animals. The main threat to girraffes are lions and leopards...luckly they are not considered a prime source of food. Many movements can be a strain for this animal because she has a hard time keeping blood pressure moving all the way up to the head. Living in flocks of up to 40, their young can walk after just 2 short hours.
