Hey and welcome to my level desing website, it's practicly about designing
custom levels for games like Half-Life: Counterstrike, Quake platforms and
some other. I have made a couple of levels before for Quake 2, they turned
out pretty well, so i just continued and now i would call myself a
half-way-proffesional ( not perfect :)

I began in 1996 with Duke Nukem 3D, heh i guess you all must laugh now,
but after beating the game a few times i kinda got tired of the 3D Realms
original levels, so one day i happen to browse the DN3D CD, and found a
program called "Build" It was a game level editing tool. By then i wasn't
really good at computers but anyway i ran the program and got hooked up,
was sitting all day and all night trying to make my levels perfect and my
social life ( wich i didn't even had before ) got ****** up :). I made lots
of levels and after each complete work i felt great, i still do. After Duke
came a bunch of other games based on 3D engines, so i messed around
with them, but in 1998 Valve released Half-Life, and since then it is still a
Top 10 game all over the world. At the time there actually wasn't any
editing program for the new 3d engine but after a few moths they started
to pop up everywhere, for example Valve made Worldcraft by the many
requests of HL gamers like me, but later on i ran on a program called QuArK,
it was a much different program, little more difficult but the design and
quick learning ability made me love it. I still use it and i still make great
levels with it.

Last year some dudes decided to make a Half-Life little different, kinda
modify it a little bit, they wanted real guns and real maps and real models
and kinda better teamplay. So they made Counter-Strike, a Half-Life
modification, it took a couple of months but this new mod got very ******
popular in every corner on the earth. It is the most played 3d action game
now. I kinda liked the idea ( everybody did ) so istarted to build maps for it.
The guy that has really inspired me is Davej, he's a level designer too, his
levels are so goddamn beautiful, and perfectly balanced between the
teams. For example Dust or Aztec, the architechture is way beyond all
others so are the perfect fitting textures. For a long time i tried to follow
his pattern but it didn't turned out very good. I guess i'm just not good
enough, yet....

So enough with this bullcrap, if you've read all that above, then you really
must love me.
