This type of spangenhelm was common throughout Europe during the 10th century. The cross and browbands are from 3 mm steel and the plates are 0,7 mm. The lining is made from eight leather bands riveted to the browband. The cross at the top is hotforged into shape and the helm is delivered in standard steel brushed finish. helm01.gif (9364 bytes)
