About "War of the Wendigo"
This story is banned in the USA, because the Peeweegahs are portrayed as
indians, and these indians all look alike, and are therefore
insulting stereotypes. Don has been told that if he wants to see this story
in print in the states, the Peeweegahs' faces needs to be redrawn so they
won't look that much alike and then colored so they won't look like real
indians - rather like smurves. One can understand why he wouldn't want that
to be done. On the other hand, he has always been very eager to see
this story in print in his own language, namely because of the great effort
he put into the Peeweegahs' dialogue.
