About "Of Ducks, Dimes and Destinies"
Don originally titled the story "Of Ducks and Dimes and Destinies,
but Gladstone removed the first "and" to get the title more grammatically
correct...
Some part of the dialogue has also been changed on page 14. Don's original
script goes:
Pannel 1:
"Hmm... the ditchdigger is stiffing Scrooge. I guess I won’t quite see the
launching of the financial career that will empower my amulet when I melt
this dime and--"
Pannel 2:
"!!!"
Pannel 3:
"What am I doing?! I’ve INTERCEPTED Scrooge’s first dime BEFORE he gets it!
It only has power if Scrooge has handled it all his life!"
Pannel 4:
"And because I interfered, the ditchdigger left NO coin! That means... if
his dime will ever be of USE to me... if Scrooge ever gets it..."
(and the rest is similar)
