This year Hellspawn Soldiers decided to play the rockpit on Friday. The rockpit has a smaller stage than the B-hall. Of course we couldn´t do a full scale show with the monster, 6meter pyro-gerbs and frontdrop etc. The rockpit only fit around 100 people so you feel very close to the audience.

This time we didn´t planned to use pyro, but in the morning when we read the newspaper we changed our minds. One of the promoters said that Hellspawn Soldiers had slowed down and quit using pyro. (you can read the article in the article section) That made us really wild and we decided to use some of the pyro we had in stock. Since everybody thought we wouldn´t use pyro we decided to keep it secret.

Five minutes before we went on stage the audience went wild and stated to shout “Hellspawn, hellspaws, hellspawn”. We got hard flow of adrenaline pumping through our bodies and then we went on stage. Now everybody were screaming like the dogs of doom.

The first song were Kick it that was followed by Automan. The third song was Light my fuse wich got a great response from the audience. The show went on and when we played God of thunder (Kiss-cover) one fan rushed up on the stage. Flash had to kick him down because he was playing with death. The stage are like a mind field if you don´t know when the pyro will go off. I had to tell the people not to jump up on the stage because you never know whats going to happen. After that I think everybody understood that we had some suprises in the pocket.
We ended the show with the Hellspawn Soldiers antem Lost in darkness. When the first bomb went off the audince were shocked and we also got a little bit shaky. The room were very small and made of concrete and the pyro were supposed to be used in large halls or even outdoor, so you can imagine the situation. We ended the show with a set of smokebombs and the fog smoke spread out all over the place. In the cafeteria three stores above you could feel the smoke going down your throat. This show was one of the best ever performed by Hellspawn Soldiers. We also wanna say thank you to all the loyal fans that showed up.
