A SPECIAL MESSAGE TO OUR ENGLISH SPEAKING FRIENDS:

Welcome to Johan & Katarina´s homepage. We live in a small village, called Asphyttan. It's situated 7 miles south of Filipstad, in the province of Värmland, Sweden. We live here with our wonderful daughter Ebba (you must visit her by clicking on "Ebbas sida" below), and dog, a Schipperkehane called Skipper. If you would like to know more about our beloved Skipper, please "click" on his own page. The picture above shows our house, which is a former Chapel. The foundation is made from massive cinderblocks which were a by-product of the smelter located in Asphyttan early in the 17th century. The walls are made of adobe, a mixture of clay and sawdust.
