Handling of structure and R-state for the
folder/booklet itself has been asked for.
How is the R-state for the booklet handled?
Since it always is the
last published that is the one to use R-state of type ‘R1A’ is used. Update
is simple, the R-state is always the same for the English and the Swedish
issue published at the same time, even if they have different product
numbers.
The digit is stepped
whenever the content list is changed, new headings, more pages, etc. The
letter is stepped for each new issue, with changed content, no matter how
much that was changed on each page.
How is the product number for the booklet handled?
The basic number is
attached with a prefix indicating the language. There is also a suffix used
to indicate the format of the booklet. So far we have used /1 for
‘A6’-format and /2 for ‘A4’ (only R2A published with this).
To manage the booklet we
actually have or use a source system (= the basic number and the rules for
the R-state).
